After the procedure is complete, the pet is allowed to recover from anesthesia and is placed in a comfortable cage until you arrive to take your pet home. Your veterinarian or staff member will explain to you signs to watch out for that may indicate complications, how to take care of your pet for the first 2 days afterward, what kind of behavior to expect from your pet and how to administer any prescribed medications.
